Yorkeys Knob Beach Cairns

This year we managed to trick the weather gods with Easter falling late and combining with ANZAC Day to make an extra long weekend (apparently this won't happen again until around 2030). As a result we have had fine sunny weather - a nice change - with strong south easterly breezes which were exploited by the local kite sailors at Yorkeys Knob Beach just north of Cairns .

Something different for the long weekend: Yo Yo Ma and Lil Buck

From Spike Jonze:The other day, I was lucky enough to be at an event to bring the arts back into schools and got to see an amazing collaboration between Yo-Yo Ma and a young dancer in LA, Lil Buck. Someone who knows Yo-Yo Ma had seen Lil Buck on YouTube and put them together. The dancing is Lil Buck's own creation and unlike anything I've seen. Hope you enjoy. --Spike Jonze, http://www.openingceremony.us/entry.asp?pid=3238
