Hungry Beast outlines how QANTAS outsources its NZ flights, creating a reduction in wages - 40% less in fact - not that it creates any reduction in the airfare. Nice to know you are entrusting your life to someone worth every penny they don't earn when you fly QANTAS to the shaky isles.
